of Excellence Award for "Creating a District Wide Energy Management Program", for the Warwick Public School
District.  Bob will receive his award at the ASBO International 88th Annual Meeting, October 25-29, 2002, in Phoenix,
AZ.

The Rhode Island Association of
School Business Officials
selected Mr. John Ritchotte,
Director of Administration for the
South Kingstown School
Department, as the Rhode Island
School Business Official of the
Year for 2010.  

Mr. Ritchotte was selected by his
peers for distinguishing himself in
the endeavors of business
excellence in education.

Mr. Ritchotte maintains
membership in several civic and
professional organizations and is
currently a member at large on the
Executive Board of RIASBO.   
At their annual conference held at the
Johnson & Wales University in
Providence, on Friday May 13, 2011,
RIASBO President, Ron Tarro,
presented Ritchotte with an engraved
desk clock to honor the event.

In addition to receiving the award, the
school business official of the year is
given the honor to bestow a $1,000
scholarship to a high school senior
who plans to study business in
college. Mr. Ritchotte selected South
Kingstown High School senior Joey
Carroll who plans to study Business
at Bentley College in the fall.  The
scholarship is made available
through the generosity of Aramark.   
Aramark representatives, Ms.
Bernadette Patynski and Mr. Dennis
Gomez, were at the event to present
the scholarship award to recipient
Joey Carroll.
