7/2/02 - Bob Dooley of the Warwick School Department is notified that he will be awarded the ASBO 2002 Pinnacle
of Excellence Award for "Creating a District Wide Energy Management Program", for the Warwick Public School
District.  Bob will receive his award at the ASBO International 88th Annual Meeting, October 25-29, 2002, in Phoenix,
AZ.

RIASBO selected Ms. Lisa
Cournoyer, Business Manager for
the Smithfield School Department,
as the Rhode Island School
Business Official of the Year for
2010.  

Ms. Cournoyer was selected by
her peers for distinguishing
herself in the endeavors of
business excellence in education.
 
Ms. Cournoyer maintains
membership in several civic and
professional organizations and is
currently Secretary of RIASBO.  
In addition to receiving the award, the
school business official of the year is
given the honor of bestowing a
$1,000 scholarship to a high school
senior who plans to study business
in college.  

The scholarship is made available
through the generosity of Aramark.

Ms. Cournoyer selected Smithfield
High School senior Raymond
Mulcahey, who plans to study
business at RI College in the fall.
At the RISSA/RIASBO annual meeting held at the Johnson &
Wales University in Providence on May 14, 2010, Ron Tarro,
RIASBO President, presented Cournoyer with an engraved desk
clock to honor the event.
